OBE welcomes American customers to Outback
After years managing sales and logistics for OBE in America, Trevor relished his first opportunity to visit Australia in March this year. Taking time out from his busy schedule, the OBE team was pleased to take the opportunity to show Trevor just what makes OBE Beef so special.
After a visit to the OBE Beef Brisbane operations it was via the air the Trevor gained his first glimpse of Australian’s most famous ‘natural feedlot’ – the Channel Country. After a five hour flight he touched down in the famous outback town of Birdsville. Most well-known for its pub, the town is in the heart of OBE’s vast organic cattle operations.
Trevor’s outback odyssey included a night sharing a meal and conversation with organic beef farmers Don and Judy Rayment, on their property Adria Downs.
The journey concluded with a visit to the Longreach Stockman’s Hall of Fame, representing the history of Australia’s cattle pioneers.
