Nearly 200 industry professionals supported winners in eight categories when the fourth annual Logistics Magazine Mercury Awards gala dinner was held last night at Dockside, Cockle Bay Wharf, in Sydney.

Certified Organic Beef Burgers and Certified Organic Meatballs are now available to food service outlets in South Australia. OBE Beef Pty Ltd has appointed Holco Fine Meats to distribute their value-added organic beef products through South Australia and the Northern Territory via their retail outlets and distribution networks

Birdsville sits on the edge of the Simpson Desert some 1600 km west of Brisbane in the vast Diamantina Shire. To the south lies the legendary Birdsville Track, mapped as a stock route in 1905 and now a major touring route for Outback travellers.

We welcomed our friends from overseas, Hans and April on their first visit to Birdsville in Outback Australia. They had a great trip spending lots of time flying and driving around an organic ranch. They were hosted by OBE Director Peter Schmidt, who accompanied them on their flying visit from Brisbane.

On Saturday 31 October, dine on OBE Beef in the heart of the outback at the legendary Australian Stockmen’s Hall of Fame. This signature At Our Table event honors the significant contribution of the stockmen and women to the development and growth of the cattle industry in Queensland.

Dalene has been selling organic meat in Asia for over five years. She was recently promoted to the position of OBE’s Regional Manager – Asia. She has been relocated to Hong Kong to manage OBE’s growing customer base in the region.
