Nick Alford brings deep agricultural foundations and extensive quality assurance and logistics experience to OBE Organic. Raised in a family embedded in the cattle industry — spanning stock and station agency, cattle production, meat processing, and retail butchery — Nick developed an early, end-to-end understanding of the red meat supply chain and the importance of integrity from paddock to customer.
Nick’s career has spanned international trade, consulting, logistics, and business operations across manufacturing, import and export, and market development. He combines hands-on operational capability with strong systems thinking, supporting complex domestic and export supply chains while maintaining compliance with regulatory, customer, and certification requirements.
At OBE Organic, Nick works across quality assurance, export logistics, and sales support, with a strong focus on ISO-aligned systems, traceability, documentation, and process consistency. He plays a key role in ensuring operational continuity, managing risk across logistics and certification pathways, and supporting teams to meet both compliance obligations and commercial expectations.
