Our Story

OBE Organic began in the nineties as the first and only premium meat exporter that was 100% dedicated to the production of organic beef in Australia.

Formed by a group of far-sighted pastoral families, we had a vision to support farmers/producers who operate in the pure heart of Australia, while supplying the world’s best organic beef to restaurants & retailers around the world.

Our Livestock

The cattle we raise roam across natural organic plains, with hardly any fences.

Free from harsh chemicals, pollutants and hormones, our livestock exist in a world that is free from all unnecessary human interference. They feed on over 250 species of seasonal native grasses and plants that grow from nutrient-rich soil.

The result is the very best grass fed organic beef and a product which is in-demand from all over the world.

Our livestock live on nature’s perfect farm… which results in some of the world’s most perfect beef.

Our Land

Our free-range production operation is staggering: together, our family farmers own over 8 million hectares of grazing land. That’s almost 20 million acres – about the area of Tasmania, or two times the area of Taiwan… or the area of Nebraska!
