I’ve inherited various photo albums from my parents, Dorothy & Bill Brook. The images contained within these albums provide an incredible look back at Birdsville’s history in the early 1900s. Here’s an image of the South Australian Pastoral Commission on a visit to Birdsville around that time. You can see the Birdsville Hotel on the right.
