Our older Uncles and Aunties grew up in droving camps with Granny Ivy and Grandad. Grandad Bill Gorringe ran his own droving outfit with his kids as his crew. “My grandmother Alice was the oldest. Gran recalls being taught all about horses, cattle and vehicles from Grandad Gorringe. All of them worked with cattle in some manner throughout their lives” (Tracey Hough, 2023).
