Mental health and wellbeing are foundational to the resilience and prosperity of our communities, especially in remote, rural, and regional areas. Dr. Tim Driscoll, RFDS Manager for Central West and Outback Mental Health, along with our team of dedicated mental health clinicians, are committed to bridging the service gap in these communities. Annually, we provide over 12,000 mental health consultations across Queensland, striving to extend our reach and impact.

In line with RFDS’s commitment to deliver the finest care to the furthest corner and in response to the unique challenges faced by those living on the land, the RFDS has developed a ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing on the Land’ “first aid manual”. This resource is offered exclusively to Queensland Primary Producers at no cost and features topics ranging from keeping relationships healthy, coping with kids at boarding school, managing anger, and dealing with difficult times on the land.

Queensland Primary Producers are encouraged to register for their complimentary copy by emailing outback@rfdsqld.com.au or downloading it online at http://tinyurl.com/bdfnhnar. Please note we can only post the physical booklet to QLD Primary producers at no cost.
