Welcoming the new Beechcraft King Air B360 aircraft to the RFDS (Queensland Section) fleet was a momentous milestone for the organisation. The new aircraft reduces the manual workload for RFDS crew and most importantly, delivers superior transportation care for patients when being transferred between facilities, our aircraft and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) vehicles. The aircraft has also enabled the introduction of a new back-of-cabin fit out, featuring a state-of-the-art stretcher system – the first of its kind for a fixed-wing aircraft in Queensland!
