A simple yet necessary task. We had a two-week visit from the stone masons working on the famous Cordillo Downs woolshed. In preparation, the team was tasked with filling two utes with white sand from Montkeleary Creek. It didn’t take long for the three of us to fill the utes up, though we soon realized we had to take a lot of sand off again, as it’s so heavy!
The sand from the creek is used in the grout mixing that the stone masons use to properly secure the woolshed walls.
