Travellers to Birdsville this year will be enjoying more than a few cold beers at the famous Birdsville Hotel. Besides a cold XXXX beer swilled on the steps of the pub, the lads and ladies will be filliing their bellies with beef of a different kind.
Mark George, Manager of the Birdsville Hotel explains, “We are trucking in over 3500 OBE Organic Beef burgers for the races. The locals love the product, so we wanted to give the tourists a taste of something special. We are expecting them to be as popular with the tourists as they are with the locals”.
OBE organic beef burgers are made from prime Channel Country Beef. The Birdsville Hotel sells the burgers throughout the year to travellers looking to try something unique.
“When you travel to the Barossa, you want to drink Barossa Valley wine. When you travel to Brisbane, you should be trying Moreton Bay Bugs fresh from the ocean. When you come to Birdsville why not try our Channel Country Beef?” said Mark.
With thousands of cans of beer and thousands of burgers, the Birdsville Hotel is ready to welcome the crowds back for Races 08.
