Allana McIntyre joined the OBE team as a Sales and Production Executive in March 2017.
Since completing a Bachelor of Agribusiness with the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2011, Allana has worked in roles which have allowed her to pursue her interest in food and fibre. These roles included work within the meat wholesale and horticultural industries, the public sector and fresh food manufacturing.
During her time at UQ, Allana travelled to China for a market research project focusing on the viability of implementing an emission reduction project, and also travelled to the USA as part of a scholarship program within the fresh produce industry.
Allana grew up on a sheep and cattle station near Longreach, Queensland, and has a strong connection to the industries and people in rural areas. She is passionate about sustainability and innovation, particularly in the agriculture sector.
